METRIC FLEXURE MOUNTING BLOCKS

The IXF.mb series mounting blocks provide an easy and robust method for mounting Siskiyou monolithic flexures. Pin pockets in the base prevent unwanted rotation and positive lateral attachment — with pins in place, parts can’t shift laterally or experience unwanted rotation. They mount from the top, so access in tight places is simple. If you have a tight optical layout, Siskiyou monolithic flexures and mounting blocks provide the ultimate in stability and vibration resistance.

The IXFmb/45 mounting block allows solid base mounting to the IXF series flexure mounts. For periscope beam steering configuration this aluminum mounting block has a fixed 45 degree angle. This configuration allows 1/4-20 (M6) cap screw clearance mounting from the top surface or a 1/4-20 (M6) threaded hole(2X) on the bottom surface. Adapted with the top adjust IXFt series, the adjustments are made free of the beam path.

Alternate sides of the IXFmb/45 block allow solid base mounting for full reflective or beam splitter optics using the IXF series, and IXFbs series mounts.

All the mounting configurations incorporate dowel pin location hole and slot features.
