The IS-OBF objective flipper lets you build a very compact imaging/ research microscope with 2 objectives. It’s very useful in applications like cell probing, where the sideways motion of a turret would disturb the sample. Mounted on a DTR series optical rail with a translation stage for focusing, you can put a sophisticated microscope in many places inaccessible to a standard full-sized microscope.
