Rotation /Translation Clamp
The patented (Pat.# 5,597,149)
RTC-0.5 is a unique rotation/translation
clamp with separate lock screws for each axis. This low profile clamp is
designed to hold PR series rods and locate them anywhere on the mounting
surface. A separate mounting screw allows the user to position the device
and then align the rotation of the device using the clamp lock screw. For
horizontal applications the RTC-0.5 can be mounted to a BB-1.0 or BB-5.0's
vertical surface.
The RTC-0.5s are ideal for mounting all types of mechanical or electronic
devices. The RTC-A series adapters are available as 8-32 tapped or
clearance,
and 1⁄4-20 tapped or clearance, in packages of 3. Use these adapters to
mount
any device with the appropriate mounting hole to the RTC-0.5. Example: By
attaching a RTC-A3 to the base of a DT100-3, a low profile manipulator can
be
assembled that easily attaches to a microscope platform.
