The MC2000 is a LabVIEWTdriven interface for our 800 and 7000 series actuators, manipulators, and stages.  It is designed to be connected to the customer- supplied computer via the RS-232 com port and is capable of up to 64 axes of control.

   The supplied LabVIEWT executable has the ability to drive the stage/actuator with an external device.  Either a Joystick or Push-button key pad may be used to coarsely position the device.  The software's versatile parameter screens allow the user to custom fit AXIS HOME, ABSOLUTE POSITION, ZERO SET, VELOCITY, ACCELERATION/ DECELERATION, and virtual axis jog buttons as well as HOME ALL, ZERO RETURN, and ZERO ALL buttons.  The AXIS JOG, HOME, and ZERO SET can be activated either by virtual buttons or by associated function keys.  Virtual Instrument libraries are available to allow the user to custom design software compatible to a specific application.  Interface commands are given in encoder counts and are capable of 0.1 µm resolution when used with our motorized systems.

   The MC2000's industry standard 19-inch rack mounted cabinet comes with power supply and RS-232 interface cords.  The standard 4-axis controller can be expanded to six axes and can be daisy-chained up to 64 axes by special request.  The software is supplied on a CD.
