The LDP LASER diode positioner has four axes of positioning freedom to
facilitate critical LASER-to-fiber alignment. The LDP-1 has front
accessible
80TPI adjustment screws for pitch and yaw. The LDP-1B has back accessible
80TPI adjustment screws. Both models have 4-40 mounting holes in the face
plates for bulkhead attachment. There is also a convenient shutter for
safe operation.
The LDP body has 8-32 tapped mounting holes for attachment to PR series
rods and FAB riser systems. By mounting the LDP to the FAB riser system
you
can create a solid fixed axis experiment. The
FAB-B2 base is designed to
be
used with our FAB-2.2 and FAB-2.3 riser blocks. The combination of these
bases
and mounting blocks will create 2.0- and 3.0-inch fixed optical axis
heights.
